Curlin Medical 2000 Plus
The Curlin 2000 Plus is an ambulatory, multi-therapy infusion pump which will do five different therapies, including Continuous, PCA with IV, Epidural, or Sub-Q delivery, TPN, Intermittent, and Circadian Rhythm (variable-time program with up to 24 rates per 24 hour period). Although the pump uses dedicated Curlin sets, the sets are straight-line tubing with no cassette mechanisms. Historically, Curlin drives the sales of this pump and does not have a large rental base for their pump, which is a lower-costing alternative to the Abbott AIM, the Sabratek 6060, and the Sims Deltec Prizm pumps. Administration sets include sets with attached 150 ml bags, and spike sets, with options that include in-line filters, both micro- and macro-bore tubing, choice of vented or non-vented, and non-DEHP tubing sets for taxol and nitroglycerin infusions.
