Jim Beck joined MSD in
January of 2007 as President and Chief Executive
Officer. He has over 30 years of healthcare service
and distribution general management experience.
|
|
Prior to joining MSD, Mr.
Beck has held various general management positions
with American Hospital Supply/Baxter Healthcare,
AMSCO International, Spectrum Healthcare, and SHPS
Health Management Solutions. At American Hospital
Supply/Baxter Healthcare, Mr. Beck was EVP Eastern
Zone - Distribution Division, a $1B medical
surgical distribution business; at AMSCO, President
and COO of AMSCO Sterile Recoveries; and at
Spectrum, EVP/COO of Spectrum Healthcare's
Emergency Medicine business.

Most recently, he was SVP
SHPS Health Management Solutions, a market leader
providing a single comprehensive source of health
management decision guidance. Mr. Beck received his
B.S. in Finance from Valparaiso University and his
MBA in Operations Research from Loyola University
of Chicago.

Ed Wholihan joined Medical Specialties Distributors in 2011 as CFO. Mr. Wholihan brings over 25 years of entrepreneurial, consulting and senior financial leadership experience. Prior to joining MSD, Mr. Wholihan held several executive level positions in venture capital, private equity and corporate entities. Most recently, Mr Wholihan served as CFO of Generation Health, a health management company that specializes in helping employers and other health care payors manage medical costs and improve their employees' and members' health, growth funding for which is now being provided by CVS Caremark, a valued MSD customer.

Ed has a BA in Economics from Yale University, and an MBA with concentration in strategy, finance and marketing from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

Worthen
|

Executive Vice President
of Sales & Strategic Relations

Richard Worthen joined MSD
in May of 2000 and has over 24 years of healthcare
sales and marketing experience.
Prior to joining MSD, Mr.
Worthen held various sales, management and
marketing positions with divisions of Johnson &
Johnson Healthcare and C.R. Bard.

Most recently, he was VP of
Sales and Marketing for the leading acute care
manufacturer of sterile custom and standard
surgical procedural trays, The Clinipad
Corporation.

Peter
Huie
|

Senior Vice President,
Operations
|
|
Peter Huie joined MSD in
March, 2006 as Vice President of Distribution
Operations. Peter brings with him over 23 years of
operations and logistics experience.
|
|
Prior to joining MSD, Mr.
Huie held various management positions with
divisions of Aramark Corporation and RedcatsUSA.
Most recently, he was Vice President of Operations
and Logistics for RedcatsUSA, the nations leading
e-commerce direct marketer for the home and apparel
market.

Mr. Huie received his B.A.
from Merrimack College.

Dennis
Beatty
|
|
Vice President, Biomedical Services
|
|
Dennis Beatty, formerly
MSDs Director of Operations, has over 20
years of operations experience in the United States
Air Force and is currently a Colonel and pilot in
the Air Force Reserves. As a Vice President, Mr.
Beatty will now participate in defining strategy as
a member of MSDs Executive
Council.

Prior to joining MSD, Mr.
Beatty was the Vice President of Operations and
Chief Operating Officer for Wren Medical Systems in
Gurnee, IL. Mr. Beatty holds a B.S. in Business
Administration from Robert Morris University and a
M.S. in International Relations from Troy State
University.
